White House Arboretum, is free to visit, and is the estate grounds of Randy and Carolyn Allen. Just call Randy at the phone number supplied and set up a time to come by. The highest level Arboretum (Level 4) In TN., with 150 tree species, and tons of bamboo, a couple half acre ponds, a blue-line stream, and a total of over 350 specimen trees.  Randy has been studying and planting trees for over a half century. 

This Arboretum is a true Arboretum for leaf collections, learning about trees, and botanists. We’ve guided Garden Clubs, school groups, scout groups, and as minor size as a married couple. Be sure and call first!

Acres of Lush and Greenery

47 acres of lush display, gardens, walking trails, distinctive stone walls and timeless buildings are what make Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum special. You will also love it for its unique historic horticulture. Its beauty simply crowns it the best of all gardens and arboretums in Tennessee.

It is privately owned and is sustained purely by membership and donations. It is available for public use whether for guided tours or private walks. Group tours of more than 20 individuals though have to call and confirm in advance.
